There is no reason not to load up on deals over the next 3 years while Lamar is on a rookie deal. We have a good 3 year window where we are legitimately close to a Super Bowl and have cap room to shell out.

What I like about these moves, even if they don’t pan out (guys like Tavon who might go on and get injured), is that they set a good example and motivate the younger guys to play harder and commit. I mean you’re dealing with a bunch of 20 somethings who instead of having to wait their turn, now see that if they ball out, they get paid. That’s good motivation and empowerment
