Ravens fans in the replies are pissed b/c he said this one was better than the 1st.

Re: Terrell Suggs 2x Super Bowl Champion
It doesn't bother me - it probably was better.
The Ravens weren't such a happy camp back then with power struggles between Harbaugh and senior players. On top of that he was released from an average team and parchuted into the playoffs with the eventual champions and then, the Chiefs had 3 spectacular comebacks in a row, which would be exciting.
I'm happy for him.

He was wearing 94. He had two assists. I saw him early in the game break back inside to cover a screen pass and was in a gang of people hitting the receiver at the line of scrimmage. Other than that, he had a decent amount of playing time failing to get within 3 steps of Garoppolo.

Re: Terrell Suggs 2x Super Bowl Champion
I was not happy with how he left, the decision to bail on the Cardinals late when there was no chance of him not being claimed and winding up on a potential big rival opponent down the stretch.
So while I'm grateful for all he's done when he was here and he's a Raven and will be in the ROH and potentially HOF, I absolutely was NOT one of the guys here "happy" that he got another ring.
It's whatever with him.Although Walsh's system of offense can compensate for lack of talent; however, defense is a different story. According to Walsh, talent on defense was essential and could not be compensated for. What did Walsh do in 1981? He acquired physical and talented players on defense.

Re: Terrell Suggs 2x Super Bowl Champion
He didnt really say it in that context.
He said it might feel better than the 1st considering how his season started off which I assume meant him playing for a team that wasnt very good early on.
From the info provided (Ravens wanted Suggs back) he chose to go to Arizona and he has no one to blame but himself for not playing for the Ravens in 2019.
Glad he got another ring. I am sure he will retire a Raven.

“Bailed” on the Cardinals? They released him!
I don’t know how you criticize him for that. And he has no choice in the waiver claim process. Whoever claims him claims him.
If you’re Sizzle, and someone says, “hey, would you like to take a run at finishing your career with a Super Bowl victory? Or would you like to head home to your couch?” What would you say? What would ANYONE say? What football player wouldn’t want a chance to play in a Super Bowl?
I don’t understand the standards that some people hold athletes to.

Re: Terrell Suggs 2x Super Bowl Champion
he played alright. he was close to Mahomes on a few plays. dropped into coverage once that i saw where he was totally not covering his receiver, but just the audacity of the playcall to drop him in coverage fooled Mahomes when pressure came from elsewhere, and i think that ball ended up getting tipped, so the play worked out alright. if someone goes back and follows him exclusively throughout the game i think what they'd see is an average performance by himself but he did things throughout as a role player to open up things for the other defenders.
