Re: 2020 Off-Season Thread: News & Rumors
I don't agree.
McCoy and Campbell are still options. Campbell may chase money, but he may take the McCoy route as well, especially if he's a late cut.
Hargraves was a good 1T pass rusher last year.
Leonard Williams, Shelby Harris, Michael Brockers, Derek Wolfe all may hit the market."Cause if you ain’t pissed off for greatness, that just means you’re okay with being mediocre, and ain’t no man in here okay with just basic.”

I’d pass on McCoy. He’ll be 32 in a couple weeks, playing DT is not kind to the body, and he’s on a downward trend. No thanks.

Although Walsh's system of offense can compensate for lack of talent; however, defense is a different story. According to Walsh, talent on defense was essential and could not be compensated for. What did Walsh do in 1981? He acquired physical and talented players on defense.

Re: 2020 Off-Season Thread: News & Rumors
Chris Jones is exactly the type of player we need but with under $30m in cap space, that's not a whole lot to work with to be honest. Nevertheless the off season theme needs to be "buy the defense, draft the offense".
With Frank Clark's new contract set to count starting next season I'm curious to see if they can afford Chris Jones.Bleed Purple but don't be a homer

I don’t think the Ravens will even extend an offer to Peanut. And I think his pride would prevent him from signing a contract with us worth less than they offered last year, which seems like a safe bet if we did offer him one.

Re: 2020 Off-Season Thread: News & Rumors
I agree, but if DeCosta uses "Judon" money to sign a more elite pass-rusher, that would be OK with me too. If there is no player in EDC's cross-hairs, then Judon may have to be franchised to get another year out of him, even with a high short term co$t. People have even posted to franchise/trade him, but that seems a pretty high risk with Bowser and Ferguson to rely on... Bc
