Golden is a real tweeter which makes him tough to fit in a lot of defenses but honestly I think we could manage it. The Ravens have a history of moving outside guys around situationally That's what Golden has been missing. If you don't have to force him in, he's going to make some plays. I'd be very interested in bringing Marcus Golden in

Yeah, it surprised me, too. Time flies. Drafted 2011. Born in 1990.

It's a lot of new coaches who are going in a different direction. The Giants have changed up a lot of that defense. I doubt Golden is looking for big money. He's probably a $5+ million player so he's not cheap but those 10 sacks aren't going to get him double digit per year money the same way his 12 sacks in a season didn't get him that money a couple of seasons ago. He's a someone that really has to fit your scheme.

Well his 12 sack season came in the second year of his rookie contract, so it makes sense he didn’t get paid then. And he finished out that rookie deal with injuries and inconsistency. When he’s on the field he’s been productive tho.

Yeah, defenses don't like guys that tweet a lot.

RE Yanda's retirement - any thoughts on how we replace him?

Assuming the rest of our line stays somewhat in tact, it's likely a battle between Powers and Skura.

    Stanley - Bozeman - Mekari - Powers/Skura - Brown

With that in mind, it could be day 1-2 draft pick or a TC camp vet signing for depth

Think right now Powers would be penciled in at RG.

I don’t think they should stay like that though. I’d love to see them being in competition for RG. Someone like Cordy Glenn, KO, or Josh Kline.
