The one that popped up in CA is to be expected since CA has so many back-door deals on the table with China, it was to be expected.... in the last year we've FOUND 2 people that were Chinese Nationals. One was fired by Feinstein after working for her for a LONG time. The other is currently the person handling the State Pension Fund, and using that money to fund Chinese Military projects. Intelligence TOLD the California delegation about his ties and how he is using their money against national interests, and they just didn't care. Google works for China making software that helps them spy on their people and run their Muslim Concentration Camps. So a case popping up in the capital of CA is not surprising since CA is basically a Chinese State.

Let's all remember that Coronavirus has been around for a LONG time, and is similar to the Flu. This particular strain of it is new, but the type of virus is not. Here are ways to prevent spread... washing hands, sanitation, not being around sick people. One thing people don't realize is that you can have it and show zero to mild symptoms. Here is the treatment... plenty of fluids and rest along with vitamins and medications. This is like a bad flu... and the flu is currently one of the deadliest viruses in the world. It kills thousands every year. The coronavirus has a lethality rate of about 0.02% higher than the flu. So if you do not go full on ape-shit panic during flu season... you really shouldn't panic about this.

I do think the transparent posturing by Pelosi and Schumer was weak , unhelpful and worthy of scorn. I would have been embarrassed by the same behavior if it had been Republicans doing it.

This is how dumb Liberals are in general right now: I posted this on Facebook... correct me if I'm wrong but this isn't really a political comment:

"Please be informed about how the coronavirus is NOT the end of the world... please look up the information on it like I did... the CDC is literally updating their website on it regularly: https://www.cdc.gov/coronavirus/2019...ses-in-us.html . While they did indicate it has the potential to spread in the US, it has a ~2% fatality rate (barely more than the flu) and that is based on the fatality rates in some very undeveloped countries. Wash your hands, cover your mouth when you cough or sneeze, and if you get sick, call the doctor... so basically do EXACTLY what you normally do in completely normal situations."

I was basically attacked by liberals that were arguing it was so much worse and that the CDC is wrong, and that I'm propagating misinformation... WTF?
Seriously...? I mean... really? Do we live in a world like this? On this message board, we can say some extreme stuff and there is some level of anonymity... granted, I have met a few of you... but on FB, you are proclaiming to your friends and neighbors REALLY ignorant views. I had to delete their comments because they were getting CRUSHED by my other friends and acquaintances... Then my friends started in like, "Why are you friends with this libtard?". Most of these people are people that I totally forgot were my friends. I commented to the one guy in messenger, "Dude, I haven't seen you since college... You didn't comment on me beating cancer, getting married, opening a business, major life's accomplishments... but you jumped up my ass on FB for reposting a CDC link on Coronavirus... Yeah... were not friends in real life, and we sure as hell aren't friends on FB anymore..."

People are nuts.

I think there is a measured middle ground but I doubt if it takes hold in this country we will be able to find it. It will just be a blamestorming over-reacting cluster fuck with equal measures of blame, accusations of totalitarianism mixed with simultaneous screams that the "government" is not doing enough etc..

And being superstitious humans there will be attempts to see it as a result of some moral failing by us collectively or some scapegoat or some other stupid shit.

Did see it's creating some nasty supply chain issues for electronics as well
