Awful awful news! Thoughts and prayers are out to his family. He is easily one of the greatest NBA players I have ever watched.

Very sad indeed. One of his daughters(13 years old) also died in the crash.

There is some flap going on about WAPO suspending a reporter over her tweet about Kobe's legal controversies.
I think what she did seems morally consistent with hers and the Posts views in the #metoo era if not kind of heartless considering his kid died too.
I just wonder if they do the same thing if the person killed was clearly politically aligned with conservatives/Republicans and not beloved.
I severely doubt that's the case which makes me think the post are hypocritical cowards for suspending her here..
