Can anyone explain for me the role of defensive line coach/run game coordinator? I’ve seen that described as Weaver’s job and I don’t get it.

I've heard of run game co-ordinator as part of an offensive line coach's job but never paired with a D line co-ordinator. I can only assume he's in charge of run defense.

Lots of teams have passing game and running game coordinators on both sides of the ball. Recently departed Chris Hewitt was the pass defense coordinator.
