The average fan can figure this out but the guys making millions can't. Amazing.

There's no excuse for coming out of the half down only ONE score, and calling pass play after pass play like you're down 21. Our OL may not have been dominating the trenches, but Ingram and Edwards were still averaging 4-5 YPC. That post-half time drive was 13 plays, and ended with a turnover on downs. Only three run plays -- Ingram for 7 yards, then Edwards for 1 yard immediately prior to Jackson's failed 4th and 1. The rest were passing plays, with some short Jackson scrambles when he couldn't find anyone. Unacceptable for an offense that thrived on being run-centric all year. Roman seemed to be play calling in panic mode way too early.

Honestly think Ingram not being 100% was a turning point on why we abandoned the run. Let's face it he and Lamar are the focal point of our run game. It's never been Gus and Lamar. Get behind by two scores and that only leads to more panic.
Let's also give some credit to the Titans defense. They were hitting the gaps early and playing with discipline too. And when LJ did go back to pass the Titans force him to throw it outside the hashmarks while flooding the zones. To Lamar's credit he did throw some nice dimes in the middle of the field.

I didn't understand what was going on, either they were out thinking themselves or they were just totally unprepared.

Harbs just stood there with a stupid ass look on his face while dean pees and Derrick Henry take his team to the woodshed. Nothing pees did was NEW...NOTHING! them seams were so wide the fuck open yet Roman out here calling crossing patterns right into the teeth of the zone defense???? mannnnnnn

Where was the run game? they got punched in the mouth early and they stayed on skates the rest of the night, harbs panicked, wink panicked and roman definitely panicked.

It was Lamar and Gus last year in 2018 when Gus rushed for 711 yards. Also, Gus played a lot this year too with Lamar at QB. It is ridiculous that one guy getting hurt causes a 14-2 team to abandon their offensive identity.

It’s like Harbaugh and Roman didn’t trust Gus and Hurst against the Titans. The Ravens could have ridden both of them to victory.

Hurst is another one, didn't he get up after making a strong catch and yelled to the sidelines "throw me the ball!" I swear he had said that, they have no idea how to use Hurst, this team shouldn't have looked that way with two guys playing hurt when it has talent to fill in nicely for those guys.

I'm talking about 2019. Ingram's ineffectiveness absolutely changes things. Identity doesn't look the same. The same plays we ran for Ingram aren't necessarily the same plays we ran for Gus. I wholeheartedly agree they abandoned the run game prematurely but my point is that Ingram and the Titans defense had something to do with that.
We have to accept that the Titans played a small role in taking away our Identity. That's how you win and lose games. The team that establishes their identity the most often wins.

Re: 70 Dropbacks vs. 21 runs called

So Harbaugh was on the verge of getting fired last year, Lamar takes over and suddenly he's a genius. Greg Roman gets run out of San Fran and Buffalo but he too suddenly becomes a genius. Let's be real here, Lamar made both of them and then they turned around and failed him. To squander the MVP and an insane playmaker in such an egregious display of mismanagement and poor coaching is honestly disgusting. Against a statistically dead average defense no less.
