    Trade Lamar

Guys I know you all get pissed at me for continuing to write this but do most of you agree with me now? I wanted us to win the Super Bowl first and foremost you have the most trade value for him (3 1st round picks) but I think we could still get (2-1sts and a 2nd?) for him.

The titans are a above average team but not world killers. We trade Lamar in the off season , get a haul and get our team stacked for the next 10 plus years.

I could lay out how I would approach the draft but I know most of you wouldn’t care. Please trade Lamar and let’s get our team a perennial super bowl contender every year. Still proud of our guys!

I love the Ravens just want our front office to know that there are people out there that would like a nice haul of draft capital and a solid team for years. Lamar is a nice guy but this was truly his lightning in a bottle for us.

I am willing to bet that you are not a Ravens fan, never was, and come here only to troll. And you probably live in your parent's basement as well.

The real question here is why RSR has not banned you yet.

You got most of it right.

Lamar was the lightning, but Harbaugh was the bottle.

    Please just stop thinking.

How would you approach the draft?

LJ isnt going anywhere. Even if he never wins a playoff game, the guy is exciting as hell to watch. He puts asses in seats and sells merchandise. He is a cash cow. Not going anywhere.

Running QBs are generally not popular. They win more than ordinary non running QBs, but they're not popular, and if they falter, they are relentlessly attacked which tends to drive down their popularity.

This guy is the only guy who thinks that Lamar should be traded soon. But what happens if/when Roman leaves? Trade Lamar to where Roman goes? We all have to know that Lamar and the Ravens are not going to do as well without Roman. No other OC is going to want to run the QB as much as Roman does. And we all know that it's Lamar running so often that leads to records like 14-2. So, whatever the Ravens get after Roman (unless he stays) is going to mean fewer wins.

A 14-2 record means nothing though if you don't win your playoff games. And so far, Lamar has been a big zero at that, and so has Roman, at least with the Ravens. I mean, being 10-6 and winning playoff games gets you closer to a Super Bowl than being the 14-2 frontrunner big target who loses to the Titans. So, who really knows if the Ravens being worse in the regular season is going to be harmful. Being 14-2 wasn't really helpful. The Ravens were in the top 3/8th of the NFL this year, and last year too.

It doesn't really look like the coaches have any idea how to win a game in the playoffs with the all time best running attack. They seem to think that passing a lot with a great running team is the way to go, but they failed.

John I’m glad someone agrees with me. I don’t dislike Lamar but just looking at this with my GM hat on. People think getting 3 first round picks for his is ludicrous but if we did it would set us up long term for success . I believe in our front office to draft the right guys. We could be a juggernaut for years to come . I’m afraid holding on to him for one extra year may foil all hopes of a big haul. Trade now while we can still get someone good for him.

Jeep you know I’m right . We are all pissed but you know I’m right. He won’t have a season even close to this again. Trade him and get three really good players for him . With as much as we all wanted i, he isn’t the answer and never will be .
