WRs are pathetic
Who can help us at WR? How many drops were there today?
Honestly AB seems worth the gamble at this point. Going through the draft hasn't worked out well in the past.

No to AB. We need to draft a guy. Hollywood was phenomenal today. More drafted studs is what we need. Luckily this class is really deep.

Re: WRs are pathetic
I've been saying they weren't good for a long time...people wanted them involved, but they were guys off the scrap heap, a first round guy with a bad foot, and an extremely raw 3rd round pick.
They weren't good or all that reliable, especially compared to the TE's. This team needs Hollywood to get healthy, and get in the weight room, Boykin to actually learn the intricacies of being a WR, and probably another quality vet or day 2 WR in the draft.
Oh and that quality vet is not ABAlthough Walsh's system of offense can compensate for lack of talent; however, defense is a different story. According to Walsh, talent on defense was essential and could not be compensated for. What did Walsh do in 1981? He acquired physical and talented players on defense.

Bullshit. Before air took a sabatitical I said sign AB and and I stand by it. He would have instilled fear. Instead we are sitting home enjoying life without a lockeroon cancer....

I’m not going to call for AB, but they absolutely need to add at least one quality receiver. Anyone who thinks otherwise is completely delusional at this point.

Jesus Christ ... The WRs caught a total of 115 passes this year. We totally abandoned what got us here

Well Hollywood Brown is going to be a good one. For a rookie, he had a hell of a year.
But he needs someone else. Boykin isn't it. He can still be a very useful player (probably as a big slot - especially given how well he blocks), but we need another WR to compliment Hollywood."Cause if you ain’t pissed off for greatness, that just means you’re okay with being mediocre, and ain’t no man in here okay with just basic.”

Re: WRs are pathetic
Greg Roman is pathetic. Lamar has been hiding him all year. The lack of WR talent should've shown up a lot more than it has.
Hollywood has potential but Culley needs to take over ASAP and open up the outside passing game.
