Re: OT- Polar Bear Plunge
I've never done it, but my hats off to you...it's a great cause!
Also, to give a little love to a former Raven, big Ed Mulitalo is being a Super Plunger (once every hour for 24 hours) this year. If not for his contributions on the field, that man should get into the Ring of Fame for his off the field contributions to Baltimore. I wish he could've retired a Raven (guess that could still happen, have him sign an honorary 1 day contract when he wants to retire).

Ngata is a super plunger this year. I think Flynn is too.

Re: OT- Polar Bear Plunge
I did it last year. It was a lot of fun. I wanted to do it again this year, but am too busy that weekend. Last year was a disaster for parking and buses, so plan ahead. Either get there REALLY early for parking, or take a bus (they have said they will improve the system). We bussed last year and it took us 2 hours after about to get back to the USNA stadium. It is a blast though.

Re: OT- Polar Bear Plunge
This will be my 4th year. My first year they had to break up the ice so we could get in. Last year it was like 60 degrees. Hopefully it will be colder this year. I always go head under. I wouldn't recomend it for everyone. It's a great time and for a great cause.I go with a nest from Ohara's Irish Pub. Plenty of booze and food to keep you warm before you plunge.

Roost 18 does it up real well, with large heated tents and plenty of hot food and booze. They have quite a crowd plunging this year, and Sports Steve is a Super Plunger! I think he'll even be plunging with the beads too.
Maybe I'll do a long distance plunge, down here in the 60 degree Gulf waters. :)"I used to be disgusted, now I try to be amused" - Elvis Costello
