Re: 4th and 1 ... insane
Watching that game, I got the vision that the Jets were a cornered rat and the Ravens were the guy with a stick, prodding the rat playfully...knowing that the Ravens could take that stick and run it through the rat at any time. Harbaugh wasn't afraid of the Jets taking over on downs even at his 29.

The look on my face when they went for it and Lamar hit Mark Andrews.

I generally don't like it, but if Andrews pulls the jump-hurdle move there, he scores.

Re: 4th and 1 ... insane
I’m sure it’s been mentioned but Harbaugh was sending the punt team on. Lamar waved them back to the sideline. Then when he probably could’ve comfortably scrambled for the 1st he took a shot 30 yards downfield instead. It was one of the wildest things I’ve ever seen lol. I legitimately just started laughing.

Re: 4th and 1 ... insane
it's possible that our terrible punt coverage factored into this decision. glad it worked out, but had the pass fallen incomplete we'd all be here talking about how stupid that playcall was. well, whatever, glad it worked out.

Re: 4th and 1 ... insane
When we had Flacco I felt we too seldom went for the kill when we had the lead. That's not the problem any longer.
