Not sure I would want Jackson to have a three week break between games, tough call for there coaching staff

Start Stanley vs the Browns, lock the 1 seed up and sit him again vs the Steelers. (and Jackson and Ingram)

From baltimorebeatdown (Winners and Losers) article :

    Under Winners -

"LT James Hurst — Did you notice it wasn’t Ronnie Stanley playing left tackle? Exactly."

JH is a solid back-up OG/OT, when you need him for a limited time... Bc

    Yeah:

    Yanda $9MM
    Stanley $6.5MM
    Hurst $4.75MM
    Skura $645K
    Brown $630K
    Bozeman $570K
    Mekari $545
    Powers $495

It's mostly a function of how young (and not highly drafted) the line is otherwise. If you compare the per/year value of his contract, he's 95th among all NFL linemen.

Some here kind of flipped out when they gave him a 'big' new contract, but it commensurate with what he is, a quality sixth man.

yes, but going up against the Browns could be a bigger problem.

Shas, I'm probably in the minority (as I am in some of my Ravens opinions), but I liked the signing of J. Hurst because of his versatility and didn't think the contract would break the bank. I am relieved he did well vs. the Jets, while Stanley healed/rested, and know we have a solid back-up @ OT and OG.

I agree with = Welcome Aboard, tjspeaks! Please post more often ... Bc
