Salary Cap to increase by ~$10million

That's got to increase our ability to get Peters, Judon, and Stanley extended this offseason.

Re: Salary Cap to increase by ~$10million
Maybe. In the long run player salaries just inflate to match the cap. I have no idea how well the short-term increase in salaries each year correlates to the level of cap increase in that year. But I think the biggest impact is on how much existing contracts sink relative to the cap.
I feel like $10M is a pretty normal amount. I'd guess that this amount of cap change doesn't really change anything.

Re: Salary Cap to increase by ~$10million
I think that's probably right. I think it may encourage you to extend Stanley sooner than later as everyone needs to be the highest paid at the position when they get their deals.
Doesn't effect what the Franchise Tag #s would be for Peters so if that's the route we go probably more room to get other deals done.

The Salary cap and all its arcane rules and applications is the Nerds revenge on the Jocks.
The Nerds may not have been able to ball - but they sure can money.
