Re: Playoff tickets
I don't understand why the OP feels obligated to receive first dibs on playoff tickets other then the ones he already owns?

Re: Playoff tickets
I don't get the idea that PSL holders should get EXTRA tickets. (And I'm a PSL holder from the beginning.) The perk that PSL holders get is a guarantee of being able to buy high-demand playoff tickets -- which is a big reason many people hold on to their PSLs.
I'd like the Ravens to take steps to discourage the secondary market, but honestly, there are tons of tickets in the regular season market that are sold on the secondary market (as witnessed by all the visiting jerseys.) So why would the playoffs be any different?"Chin up, chest out."

Playoff tickets
First, most if not all good businesses give their best customers preferential treatment. If not, they become somebody else’s customers. Look 40 miles to the south and across Ravens walk for two sports examples.
I did go to the comment section of the Ravens website and asked why they did this. I just got a call from the Ravens office explaining that the NFL required all teams with a chance for the playoffs to sell tickets today. Apparently, this was a change in procedure. This is another reason to love the Ravens. They try to have really good customer service. Any time I’ve talked to anyone in their business operations it has been a pleasant experience.
If they get really sophisticated they could move to a participation model. Many colleges do this. You get points for attending events and then you get a place in the queue based on your attendance. I don’t see that happening any time soon. But it might be the most fair method.

Re: Playoff tickets
Yeah. I mean, so many PSL owners just aren't attending the games. When there are people trying to get a hold of tickets to actually attend the games.

Re: Playoff tickets
Just realized that, even though I'll have to watch the first playoff game on TV instead of live at the stadium, I am already obligated for playoff parking at the Casino Valet. Possibly for both games. The Casino Garage provides a great location & value: post-game pick up your car from the valet about 50' from the Casino exit, $5 tip, then one block to Russell Street / BW Parkway. I believe the price will be around $50 - $60. (I glanced at the MSA lots A, B/C, G & H pricing at Stub Hub ranging from $175 to $900).
I'd sooner offer them here, at cost, than go through the hassle of advertise them to strangers (even though y'all are technically strangers).
PM me if you want the parking pass.In a 2003 BBC poll that asked Brits to name the "Greatest American Ever", Mr. T came in fourth, behind ML King (3rd), Abe Lincoln (2nd) and Homer Simpson (1st).

Re: Playoff tickets
I remember when we got suckered into buying PSLs in 1996, they “guaranteed” us that we OWNED the actual seat in the new stadium and would have first dibs on all events. LOL. We see how that worked out. I don’t think the Ravens have offered us first dibs on tickets since the Metallica concert. And that was some cheesy code that everyone and their brother already had.
