Re: The OFFICIAL Ravens @ Bills Prediction Thread
So tonight Tony Kornheiser on PTI said that the 49ers "solved Lamar's passing". Hmm. Does anybody buy that? I saw a couple of dropped passes by our receivers, an effort to frankly not throw much and try to focus on the ground game due to (a) the elements and (b) the fact that the 49ers have the best pass defense in the NFL, and also when Lamar did throw, he was often throwing to receivers that were incredibly well-covered, so they were low percentage throws or throwaways anyhow. I don't think they solved anything, I think they just have the best pass defense, the rain effected our route running and our receiver's hands, as well as likely effecting Lamar's ability to throw as accurately as normal, and of course due to being against a great pass D and being in the elements, we didn't try to pass too much or take many risks in the passing game. I don't think it's fair to say they solved his passing. But what do you guys think of that comment and my "excuses"?

Re: The OFFICIAL Ravens @ Bills Prediction Thread
34-13 Ravens win.
The bills are solid but I don’t think they have the talent up front on D to take away all that we do running the ball, particularly Ingram and Gus between the tackles. They have talented linebackers and coverage guys but as soon as they try to commit resources to fix the leak in the middle Lamar is gonna torch then outside. It boils down to a “pick your poison” situation like it normally does.
The bills offense will try to attack our edge but wink learned his lesson last week and isn’t going to trust Ferguson on running downs. The bills are basically a poor man’s niners as far as a rushing team and we shut it down after making adjustments last week. If Allen has to throw they play to our strengths and I think you’re gonna see some picks.

Re: The OFFICIAL Ravens @ Bills Prediction Thread
I was worried about this one back in September for two reasons:
(1) December weather
(2) Bills' defense
My last check of Buffalo weather on Sunday dismisses Item 1. That leaves their defense which is not as good as the 49ers' who have an offense.

Re: The OFFICIAL Ravens @ Bills Prediction Thread
I watch PTI pretty much every day, and I saw that, and I believe you're slightly missing what TK was saying.
He was saying that you could say that the Niners "solved Lamar's passing" -- but Lamar rushed for a hundred yds and moved the ball and the Ravens won anyway. He was pushing it in the direction of, "WTF are teams supposed to do??" and "Can the Ravens be stopped??" Not really saying that the Niners solved or exposed anything.
