Re: Ricard Extended
A great player whose true impact will rarely show up in the stat sheet. Glad we have him for awhile.

Re: Ricard Extended
I thought the team hated him because he’s racist?
Guess not. ;-)
Glad they locked him up. He’s a really good, home grown, player.

Re: Ricard Extended
That's a great move. DeCosta does so much right I wouldn't swap him for any GM in the league.

Re: Ricard Extended
I remember being a kid and asking "why can't you just get a 10 really big guys a run behind them every play?" That's kind of what we're doing with these guys. Lead blocking with fast but strong TE+FB combos? Nobody preps for that.

Re: Ricard Extended
The league goes in cycles - RBs were dead three years ago with the advent of spread offenses. Now that defenses have invested in lighter, faster “dime” players, the teams that favor power running games (Ravens, Niners, Vikings, Seahawks) are all near the top in the standings. Even the pats run power concepts but have a fairly anemic line/back combo.
It will keep going in cycles.

Re: Ricard Extended
There are some people who don't think much of athletics, because they feel that there are far more important jobs in the world. To be fair, they have a point. However, they go so far as to denigrate athletics and the difficulty involved with becoming a professional athlete. I would invite them to shadow Ricard, throughout his daily regimen of training and team meetings. Then, they could see just how easy (sarcasm) it is.
