Re: Are teams trying to hurt Lamar?
By targeting his legs, I believe so. Intimidation from hard physical hits is one thing. Intimidation from trying to deliberately cause injury is another. The refs need to do their jobs and flag those defenders and eject the ones who keep doing it.

Re: Are teams trying to hurt Lamar?
That's what Thomas was pointing out. There have been several roughing the passer calls the past several games, all for hits at the knees. He got injured on the TD pass to Hurst, which didn't get called.

Jackson even said they're targeting his legs. The other teams can't completely shut him down, so poor character players are taking their shots to get him out of the game.

Thank god that POS Joey Porter isn't around anymore. 100% he'd try and injure Lamar.

Re: Are teams trying to hurt Lamar?
Ok. First if the Bills bruised Lamar’s Thigh...that’s above the knee. So no penalty.
Second ...once Lamar breaks the pocket , either a designed run or a scramble, he’s no longer a QB and doesn’t get the protection of a QB. He’s a ball carrier and he subject all hits
