Re: POLL: Why is this "impeachment hearing" REALLY happening?
I don't know if most who post here know this and it won't matter to those that don't live in or near the Baltimore area, but during the summer, usually once a month, if you wear your Orioles gear, or even something orange, you get a free chicken sandwich. No purchase necessary. Now back to the original thread.

Re: POLL: Why is this "impeachment hearing" REALLY happening?
False.
I don't accept the premise that his opinion is this coherent or organized.
But no. The notion that there IS a massive corrupt system of foreign aid which has channeled nearly 3/4 of a Trillion bux back to (Democratic) politcal familes, is false.
Also the notion that Trump's alleged "concern" is the real reason for impeachment hearings, is false. And laughable.
Yeah, it's confusing and not well documented. I eventually started a test thread on the trash heap, to work thru the process.
So what you do is:
You start with "Post a New Thread". Start to write the body of the post that will begin the thread. On that page, way way at the bottom, below the options for "Show your sig" and "Automatically parse links" etc, there's a checkbox for "Post a Poll". Check that box, and then edit the number of poll options (default 4).
And then hit submit!
That's the really disorienting part. You haven't yet populated the actual choices for the poll: still you hit submit first. This does not take you to your finished post, like the normal process. Instead it takes you to another window where you populate the question that heads the poll, and then the options. At that point you can preview the poll.
Not mentioned anywhere: the max length for each poll option is 100 chars. If one of them is too long, when you hit preview it tells you that they're too long (it even tells you which ones): but there's no edit button! You have to go "back" in your browser window.
Clunky shitty process. But it does work. Very poorly documented though.
