I've definitely wondered if they would have kept playing TJ if he hadn't gotten hurt. IIRC (and I don't want to bother looking it up), QBS were having 100+ QB rating when they were throwing at TJ. The Ravens had to know this but they kept running him out there.

Did they think he would figure it out?

We'll never find out and I'm glad we don't have to worry about it any more but it is puzzling that they never really tried out Clark until TJ got hurt.
