    Rams Message Board

As is my habit, I checked out the Rams board earlier today.
There is an interesting take on having Jalen Ramey “spy” LJ because, A) he’s fast enough, and B) the Rams can cover the Ravens WRs 1 on 1 without Ramsey.

    Oh.

My take: LJ can run rings around Ramsey.
Someone please tell Hollywood he’s got 1 on 1. Please.
So, who’s left to cover Mandrews/Hurst/Boyle?
    "CARPE LOMBARDI"

While he's spying he can play patty cake with Boyle and Ricard.

I admittedly don't know about Ramsey specifically, but corners are notoriously bad tacklers. And you've removed your best corner from pass coverage against a good passing QB.

    Re: Rams Message Board

I got asked to go on a Rams podcast, so I was going over a few things with the hosts as like a prep so that I wasn't caught off guard.

Some of the things they were saying about Lamar caused me to hang up and not do the show.

If it was going to be for a neutral audience, then whatever, but it was for a Rams audience and I'm not wasting my time arguing with people who still want to say he cant throw.

I would try Ramsey on Andrews. A CB would not do well with the kinetic energy this team throws at a defense.

Key word "WRs". They won't be able to cover them because our WRs will be too busy blocking them. Question is whether they'll be able to cover our 3 headed monster at TEs.

Jalen Ramsey is a great straight line athlete. If there's any type of WR he struggles against its smaller, quicker guys. He's not a match for Lamar's quickness but if they chose to bring him down in the box I'm sure a few QB powers with 300lb Ricard coming at him would have him rethinking things.

People who still say Lamar can't throw are either haters or extremely dumb or both.

    Let's play "guess the cliche"!

I'll take "one read and run QB" for $500 RSR bucks.

Lamar w/b pleased to educate them.

The Rams do have a pretty good defense though.

Thumbs up Re: Rams Message Board

If Ramsey "spies" LJ that would pretty much take their best Dback out of the Ravens passing game. Oh I'd be with that... Bc
