I noticed this too. Surprised that not one is talking or focusing on this. Obvioiusly garret is in the wrong but he is also getting in trouble because he was successful in retaliating.

I thought Pete Rozelle was a pretty good commissioner, from what I remember, at least compared to Tagliabue and Goodell. Tags was the worst, especially after he told Baltimore to build a museum after we didn't get an expansion team.

If Garrett doesnít swing that helmet, NOTHING else happens. Teams go to their locker rooms, game over, nobody bats and eyelid. Instead, Garrett goes insane and tries to seriously injure Rudolph.

You donít believe that narrative and think Rudolph deserves blame you havenít watched much football in your life and your opinion has the strength of wet toilet paper.
How many players do you see kick the player in the nuts after they're no longer on top of them?

Do we even have a Hill in the AFCN?

    Highly doubt that.
Although Walsh's system of offense can compensate for lack of talent; however, defense is a different story. According to Walsh, talent on defense was essential and could not be compensated for. What did Walsh do in 1981? He acquired physical and talented players on defense.

That it can get uglier, or that Mason uttered a racial slur?
