Ward and Ellis were both Raider DTs back a few years ago.

    2016 and 2017.

I like the change in attitude of the front office and coaching since EDC took over...perform or be replaced.

Same as ILB, use the vets to patch holes that the young lads aren't filling.
I love this kind of shit. EDC is just trying to put the best product on the field. Doesn’t matter if you’re 22 or 32, UDFA or 1st round pick.

Having Ellis means the Ravens won't have to push Pierce or rely solely on Williams for run defense. He is not going to be run on.

Provided health, this is a very good signing. Provided health. There's a big load on those feet.

Getting both Peko and Ellis midseason under the circumstances is great. Obviously not transformational acquisitions but both are competent run stuffers that have performed at the NFL level. After watching the Bengals gash up the gut after Pierce went down, I'll take the 650 lbs. in the middle.

I just hope that both Ellis and Peko can get up to speed quickly. We need to shut down the Texans run game.

This might be DeCosta's superpower- getting production out of forgotten talent.

It seems obvious when you think about it. Cheaply adding players who were good enough to play in the league for years rather than waiting on draft picks who might never develop. The whole league will be copying it soon.

There is a reason Bill B has so many Super Bowls.

Yeah I was about to say New England's been doing it for a while now.

Veteran depth never hurts, even if it is from the Raiders. Let’s just hope this one turns out better than the two former first round Raiders that we had. Lookin at you, Rolando and Mr. Huff

More good moves from EDC. He's doing a great job.
Not much really matters, and the rest doesn't matter at all.
