Re: College football thread
Burrow is Jimmy G. He's smart, composed and really good when you put pieces around him. I can't see him going #1 overall. I do love him though. In the right situation he could have a great career. I'm hoping the Vikings. Cousins only has 1 more year on his deal. Let Burrow back up there for a season and then take over in 2021. Burrow with Cook, Diggs, Theilan and a young and improving OL would work out great.

Re: College football thread
Burrow has had one of the all time great draft board rises I've ever seen.
I thought last year he looked like almost every other standard LSU QB...game managing, not dynamic, but a simple take what the D gives you, a guy who is solid, but no special qualities. Basically a mid day 3 pick.
The jump he has made from last year to this year is unlike anything I think I've seen. I didn't see hardly any of the playmaking/make something out of nothing, movement in the pocket to buy time and make accurate throws when plays look dead. It's crazy to me. Props to him for this massive improvement.Although Walsh's system of offense can compensate for lack of talent; however, defense is a different story. According to Walsh, talent on defense was essential and could not be compensated for. What did Walsh do in 1981? He acquired physical and talented players on defense.

Which QB would you rather have going to the bengals? Burrow or tua.
I hated the idea of tua going there.. but this burrow kid is a baller too..
let’s hope they draft Herbert lol

Re: College football thread
I completely agree. Someone earlier compared Burrow to Ben. Tua is the poor mans Ben Roethlsberger. He can move all over in the pocket and deliver the ball expertly from crazy spots. He doesn't have Ben's size but he sure has his awareness and physical skills. If Tua was on the Steelers right now JuJu would be a top 3 receiver because he'd be killing it deep.

Please don’t compare Hurts to Lamar any more.

Re: College football thread
Oklahoma got away with one tonight. There is no way they should be in the conversation right now.

Jebus, Ohio State literally beat another decommit out of the Terps yesterday.
Just beat it TF out of us.
Guy was like "I want none of that".
Program is in a free fall.
The heady days of early September seem like a dream.
