Got the comp pick back. Jeremiah Ledbetter was promoted from the practice squad.

With Brent Urban signing with Chicago, and a promotion from the PS, I doubt this is to make room for a trade or signing.

Does anyone know if we get any cap savings at all from ditching Bethel?

Missed this. Ledbetter is a nice sounding prospect. Young. Passrush potential. Would like to know the cap savings. Also don't underestimate the wonder if EDC. He's definitely Executive of the year.

Ledbetter to me seems like a guy who shouldn't be on the team long. He's been really bad IMO. So we'll see. I am interested to know if we get cap savings at all

Isn't Bethel a vested veteran (this might not be the proper term)? What I'm trying to get at is that (I think) his contract is guaranteed, so there shouldn't be any cap savings. I don't know for sure though, tweet to Brian McFarland.
