Not sure how I feel about this one. Team must not have a ton of confidence in Jimmy's ability to play on a high level. It could be a 1 year rental. Very talented guy who was a stud. He also is a bit of a knucklehead and doesn't fit some posters claims of "Harbaugh" type of player.

EDC seems big on moving on from guys who don’t perform.
Young had a huge opportunity and he didn’t seize it.

He's on a $9M 5th year option for 1st round picks. This become fully guaranteed once the league year started. Usually guaranteed money stays with the old team. Any idea if this is true for the 5th year option?

I don't believe that's quite accurate. Salary is traded. Signing bonus stays with the team. The salary being guaranteed does not mean the Ravens don't have to pay 11/17 of his cap hit. Originally Posted by Kyle Cactus
