    PFF Grades through Week Five

Take it for what it's worth... but it's about as good an overall eval as we can easily get our fingers on via the web. For the most part, it makes sense and follows who's been playing well and who not.

If a name isn't there I did not deem him with enough snaps to warrant a listing.

Pretty much matches up with what we've been saying here. Wormley's rating is kind of surprising, I guess, but not much else is. Onwuasor and Board - big oof.

Offensively not many surprises there at all.

Defensively Humphrey too low. Judon probably as well. Sack Daddy and Bowser have done nothing to show average but everything else seems to meet eyeball test.

Chris Board needs to go. Bring in the best ILB and get some depth to push these guys other then Bynes.

We gave Mason Foster a look why not sign him?

Hard to argue with any of this. I'm really disappointed to see Peanut so low. He's definitely been bad this year, especially in the last 3 games, but I still believe he could be very good at WILL with the right player next to him at MIKE.

Lol Humphrey’s been the 7th best player on the defense. Okay.

Exactly. Helen Keller would grade players out better than that dribble.

I mean it's not like Humphrey hasn't been beaten a few times this year? He saved the game Sunday but he also got stiff armed into the front row by JJSS on his TD. IIRC he also had some issues against Arizona and KC?

A couple of those guys, Elliott and Bynes in particular, have barely played so their grades are skewed. I doubt Bynes is still grading out at 75 a few weeks from now.

Pro Football Focus is often questionable to say the least. This doesn't line up with what we're seeing on the field, to say the least.

Earl Thomas and "very good" don't live on the same planet this season.

What exactly doesn't match up with what we are seeing on the field? The defense full of average to below average players? The (original) ILBs rated horribly? Andrews being a God, and most of the offense being average to above average? It looks exactly like what we've been seeing on the field.
