Not really, I just don't care what you have to say.

Are you suggesting that professional athletes have to be intelligence/smart to be successful?

It's like saying Jeff Bezos is dumb. Sure, does one have the right to say anyone in the world is dumb and unintelligent, yes! But if you are calling people like that dumb, then I also have every right to question the intelligence of that person.

In essence, it's quite dumb to call smart and intelligent people dumb.
Bezos has an electrical engineering degree from Princeton....

I believe you are missing the point of what I'm trying to highlight LeBron. There are plenty of athletes that have had on the court success, and completely messed up their money off the court, but in order to have the amount of success LeBron has had off the court, you'd have to be an idiot to say that he's dumb. Let me give you a running list of what he's done:

    1. Created a super successful marketing/agent firm
    2. Incredibly successful investment into Blaze Pizza
    3. Created a school
    4. Co-owner of clothing brand Unknwn
    5. Bought a 2% stake in Liverpool FC at 6.5 mil now worth 32 mil
    6. Created his own media company

Lol even Warren Buffet has said LeBron is super business savvy and smart. Maybe it sounds like I'm caping for LeBron, but I just wanted to point out the idiocy of saying that he "lacks intelligence" and is "stupid". It's honestly ludicrous.

A very impressive resume, for sure. But you have to admit that his freakish, unbelievable talent on the basketball court was the catalyst to opening doors for all of his accomplishments. Credit goes to him for the desire to become more than just a great basketball player. Many players of all sports do not take advantage of those opportunities. He has a plan for life after basketball, so kudos for him. More players should follow his lead instead of becoming broke after their playing days are over.

Is it also possible that LeBron surrounded himself with really good people and he had very little innovation into any of these things? He just provided the $$$?

And, for what it's worth, I don't think LeBron is dumb. Politically and socially naive, yea. But not dumb.

Yea, but you didn't say Bill Gates.

    You said Jeff Bezos.

Also, Bill Gates was studying advanced mathematics at Harvard for 2 years before dropping out. It's a bit of a false equivalency because clearly Gates could have gotten a degree from Harvard.

And Bill Gates can't take the ball at the top of the key and in 3 steps, sometimes dribbling sometimes not, go around/through 3 6' 8" and up defenders and dunk...consistently.

He's not dumb but let's not pretend he earned his "investing" money using his brain.
