    I'm sensing a theme here.
How can anyone not love this kid. Glad he's our QB.

Harbs gets very risk averse in the second half when he thinks he can just run out the clock. Endless FGs instead of TD. I think we need to decide to risk the biscuit more and go for td. To do that they need to pass down field more. Take shots. Our halftime adjustments are bad. Offense looks flat. If we can’t power run we just wait until it 3-rd and a bunch to try a shirt pass which are often well defended.

Being so analytics based, I feel comfortable i s aging that you are suggesting going against MATH. Generally not a good idea.

When the players execute, it doesn't look risk adverse at all. It looks like 7, 8, 9 minute demoralizing drives against your opponent to seal the victory. The bigger issue in second halfs, especially when the team has a lead, is the defense not being able to get off the damn field...sometimes due to an assist from the refs, but more often to not being able to stop 3rd and forevers multiple times as a team tries to comeback.

It's great to burn 2nd half clock when you're ahead, but if we keep getting FGs the problem is : Can our defense hold down the opponent? If YES, then keep on killing the clock, if NO, then perhaps our offense can score a few more TDs? I'm glad we're winning, but the above seems a coaching/play calling problem to me... Bc

Lamar is an Offensive Revolution. He's also still learning. This playbook aint even close to being opened up yet.

Still gotta like that stat line after 5 weeks:

    Comp:106
    Att:162
    Comp%:65.4
    Yrds:1,271
    Yrd/Att: 7.8
    TD:11 INT:5
    RTG: 99.1
He's had a very strong start to the season. Some hiccups here and there, but he's still growing and this is his first year as a bonafide starter. Given what he's done so far, I'd say he's been amazing. To even be in the MVP convo halfway through the season is impressive. IDK if Hollywood Brown is the future #1 WR with All-Pro potential, but he's definitely a very strong #2. If we ever get a bonafide #1 WR in here, it's lights out. With Andrews, Brown, and one more elite pass catcher...teams won't be able to stop us. They're barely stopping us now when Brown is injured and Andrews is having a bad game lol.

    Baltimore Ravens:

#1 in points scored at 341 - 46 points ahead of the 49ers
    #1 in pts/gm at 34.1 - 5pts/gm ahead of the 49ers
#1 in rushing offense with 2,038 yds for 203.8 rush yds/gm
#20 in passing offense at 2,248 for 224.8 pass yds/gm
    #2 overall with 428.6 yds/gm
#1 in time of possession at 34:36 per game

Lamar - solidly in the league MVP conversation

    19 TDs/ 5 ints
    66.3% comp pct
2,258 yds passing - which ranks # 19 amongst starting QBs

    ****however****

another 788 yds rushing with 6 rushing TDs...

which actually makes him #5 amongst starting QBs with 294.8 yds/gm

Lamar has almost played in one less game. He didn't play in the 4qt of the Miami Bengals and Texans game. He could of really padded his stats.

All prospective Ravens bandwagon fans should be forced to read this thread, in its entirety, before signing up.

Best if they know what they're getting into, warts and all.
