    Re: Fun Madden Thread

Finally finished season 1. Been playing too much of other stuff. I played on All-Pro. Went 12-4. Offense was outstanding, but the D was terrible. #2 O, but #27 D led to a lot of high scoring games.

    Jackson 73$ (363 att), 3,382 yards, 37 TD, 10 INT / 124 att 1206 yards 10 TD

    Ingram 1325 yards 13 TD
    Edwards 673 yards 2 TD
    Hill 306 yards 8 TD

    Brown 68 catches 1181 yards 15 TD
    Andrews 67 catches 988 yards 10 TD
    Boykin 57 catches 567 yards 7 TD
    Snead 35 catches 357 yards 4 TD
    Hurst 15 catches 165 yards 2 TD

    Judon had 12.5 sacks
    Pierce had 7 sacks

Finished #1. Played Houston in the Divisional round. Lost by a FG. Just as crushed as real life.

    Free Agency
    - Traded Brandon Williams + 4th for CAR 2nd (pick 46 IIRC)
    - Trade Tony Jefferson + 5th + 2021 4th for CIN 2nd (pick 33)
    - Edwards walked (just a FA in Madden), Peko, Jelly, Bynes, Moore, etc. all walked.

    - Re-signed Judon
    - Re-sign Pierce (After he got the sacks I determined it was smart)
    - Signed Chris Jones and moved him to LE to replace Williams
    - signed Kelechi Osemele to play RG after Yanda retired (Thuney was too expensive)
    - Made some depth moves such as adding Zach Brown, Malcolm Brown (suprisingly was just a 1 year cheap deal to replace Edwards) and signed a LT back up but cant remember who it was.

    Draft:
    - BAL 1st - AJ Espensena, RE. Playing the 5T in the base (RE) and DE opposite Judon in the nickel. Ill rotate Ferguson and Bowser into snaps as well - Ferg had 4.5 sacks in Y1.
    - CIN 2nd - Tee Higgins
    - CAR 2nd - Yeuter Gross-Matos (I have a ton of OLB's, but this was pure BPA)
    - BAL 2nd - Tylar Biadasz (Again BPA)
    - BAL 3rd - Jordan Phillips (bit of a reach but I needed an ILB)
    - I had a 4th, but it wasnt my own and I cant remember who I got it from but I took KJ Hamler, who isn't rated very highly to be the eventual Snead replacement.

    2021 Depth Chart
    QB - Lamar / RGIII
RB - Ingram / Hill (more snaps coming his way) / Brown
    FB - Ricard
    WR - Brown / Boykin / Higgins / Snead / Hamler / Scott
    TE - big 3
    OL - Stanley-Bozeman-Biadasz-KO-Brown

    RUSH - Ferguson / Gross-Matos
    SAM - Judon / Bowser
    LE - Chris Jones
    DT - Pierce
    RE - Espensea
    MIKE - Jacob Philis
WILL - Peanut (he's actually decent in Madden)
    CB - Hump / Peters / Young / AA / Marshall
    FS - Thomas/Elliott
    SS - Clark/Levine

Hamler is getting some returner opportunities to try and maximize his impact.

OVERALL - obviously it's Madden and not realistic, especially those trades, but it was a lot of fun and Im looking forward ot developing some of these guys.

I played game 1 (@PHI) of 2021 and we had 6 sacks. Jones had 1.5 and Pierce had 1.5. Judon had 1, Ferguson had 1 and the last was a DB blitz by Young.

I threw the ball 34 times. Andrews had 8 catches, Brown 6, Higgins 2, Boykin 4. It was fun trying to spread the ball.

Nice and not too over the top.

These trades are not too crazy. Keeps it somewhat realistic.

Jimmy and Skura walked as well? Were they wanting too much or did you want to go in a different direction?

I've found that Skura isn't easy to re-sign.

I hardly ever try to keep Jimmy.

I traded Skura for a depth OLB and Jimmy walked.
