Seems like every draft is described as a "deep draft". It's really lost all meaning.

They may have made the decision to tank afterwards

Ajayi has an injury concern and Landry wanted to get paid

Agree. I love it - the Steelers have misassessed their strategy. Ben is done and will just cost them. If you ask me, he has no plans to come back. He knows he is slow and old and those $$$ look awfully good. Their offense has declined and their Oline - going forward - is getting old all at the same time. Even if Rudolph develops well, he will not likely have a stellar cast around him. They will not be big spenders in FA with their dead cap space; and their draft capital is poor relative to their powerful competition - they will be looking up to us for several years, at least.

So, Minkah will help on the back end, but then they have to replace Haden soon. They are looking at several years of 7-9 with no plan, no capital to break forward again.

He can sit at home and collect the injury guarantee for 2020 and 2021 PLUS this year's salary. What a disastrous extension.

I haven't watched, but what I've heard is that Lawrence is the best prospect since Luck. Two years to plan how to get him
