McCabe is up shit's creek w/o a paddle in sight

The charges will be based on DOJ Inspector General Michael Horowitz’s April, 2018 report which stated on the allegations related to McCabe, “lacked candor, including under oath, on multiple occasions in connection with describing his role in connection with a disclosure to the [Wall Street Journal]” in violation of FBI policy. Further, it stated that McCabe’s “disclosure of the existence of an ongoing investigation in the manner described in this report violated the FBI’s and the Department’s media policy and constituted misconduct.”

Should the federal prosecutors indict McCabe, he would be the first senior law enforcement official involved in the origins of the investigation into Russian interference in the 2016 election.

So...a US Attorney is recommending that CRIMINAL CHARGES be filed against McCabe for lying to investigators and leaking information to the media.

Finally! Some accountability!

Now that McCabe works for CNN...will he cover his own trial?

I'm looking forward to the imminent FISA declassification report. That should be an interesting read.

I seriously doubt anything will happen, but if it does I hope they don’t stop with him. They need to go after Brennan, Lynch, Strozk, Comey, Obama, and the rest of the people in the conspirators.

Looks like this potential charge has nothing to do with the Russia investigation from what I can tell. Also looks like they've just chosen him to prove there is not a separate standard for law men that lie to to investigators. I'm thinking it"s possible there is more to come on him with the FISA abuse investigation and maybe that's coloring this decision.

Yeah, they chose him, right after letting Comey of the hook.

I guess McCabe has less on them than Comey does.

Comey was let off the hook for leaking info to the media. I think they have a laundry list of serious charges against him coming up, including FISA abuse. He needs to be charged, found guilty and locked up, I'll be very pissed if he isn't.
