What is up with Thursday night football?

They have the worst batch of games I've seen. Who is staying up to watch the Bucs vs panthers?

They have like three interesting games on the entire docket. Cowboys vs Bears, Eagles vs Packers, Rams vs Seahawks. Of course the Ravens vs Jets but if you aren't in New York or Baltimore you don't care.

Is there something going on there?

I'm excited for Bucs/Panthers. It's a division game and its not like it's the Dolphins. I expect the Panthers to win but I could see it being close.

Putting a crap game on Thursday and it still gets ratings otherwise not as many people would watch the same game if it were on Sunday with the other games.

Just saying, people outside of Baltimore and NY will care about that Ravens/Jets game if Lamar continues to play as he did Sunday. Offense like that is what gets people outside the territory interested.

The games don't seem bad. The only one that jumps out at me as likely being non-competitive is the Giants/NE one. A game like Jags/Titans or 49er's/Cards may not sound great but it should be competitive and that generally makes it interesting.

We want two legit contenders on primetime though

They show 3 prime time games a week between Sunday, Monday and Thursday. Unless the same teams play multiple times on a Thursday or Monday it's just not possible. If the Ravens played 2 Thursday night game this year we'd be going nuts. There would be all sorts of threads about how the NFL is against us
