Re: Action Jackson AFC offensive player of the week

They can try to troll me all they want. I’ve been consistent.

    1. The fan in me was pissed that Flacco got traded

    2. The fan in me was peeved that they waited until he left, after he’d once led them to the damned title, to start wanting to build the offense up around the QB

    3. That said, I am a Ravens fan first, I’ll get over it and I’m glad they aren’t making the same mistake with Jackson

    4. I just don’t want to see the young man treated like a RB who can throw, ran into the ground and is looking for a new QB in three years. I don’t want to have to read defenses of his abilities, while we watch him get fifteen carries. I want him to actually be treated like a QB and let his play be his defense.

    5. If Flacco had come out and thrown five touchdowns, I wouldn’t have been bragging. It’s one game. One game doesn’t prove any of the points I’ve been making about him. Now, if he has a very good SEASON, Denver returns to the playoffs and they make some noise when they get there, I’ll run my mouth a little.

    6. Conversely, had Lamar thrown four picks, I wouldn’t have shat on him. Again, one game doesn’t prove or disprove anything.

Nice to see someone other than Tucker won one of these.

Actually, maybe I should by a jersey...a New England jersey with every Patriot’s name, including Belicheat. With luck, the team will spontaneously combust and cease to exist within 2 years.
I feel the same way. I too bought a Rice jersey and could only wear that crap in public for a good year before he went postal smh. I might buy a Lamar Jackson jersey though, I want to wait to see how he progresses this year first. If he's as good as we all think he is, there will be plenty of time to buy one because he'll be here for a long time lol.

    Hopefully

It's almost like letting the Heisman trophy winning QB throw the damned ball is a solid game-plan.

I know someone else posted the list of guys that have gotten it from our team, but I have to say - Y'all just forget about Ray Rice or something? lol.
