These are his 16 official carries (note 2 kneels and the stupid fumbled snap both count). You've correctly got (Q3, 05:56) which I would miss since the play was nullified by penalty. I'll check the other nullified plays tonight.Shared Google Folder with Ravens spreadsheets, nextGen charts, and more! Please share my content! (attribution to Twitter requested)

Re: QB Runs
Wups, never got back to this. Too caught up arguing the politics of players kneeling for the anthem, I guess.
Here's my rough notes for this week:
Q1 8:40 fake handoff Lamar off-tackle hit no
Q1 7:10 run left option yes hit no
Q1 5:00 scramble left (4th down!) hit yes
Q1 4:24 QB sweep left on 2-pt conversion try hit yes
Q2 12:40 Lamar scramble right hit yes (sack)
Q2 3:00 Lamar keeper left option maybe hit yes (loss of yards)
Q3 11:25 Run left option maybe (fake) hit no (OOB)
...
Q4 2:10 scramble right TD – scramble: yes – hit: a little
The ellipises represents that my wife had me make a quick run to the store during the 4th Q, to pick up some stuff she'd forgot.
Don't know if I missed any runs.

Re: QB Runs
Lamar just seemed confused and quick to spin around and look for an alley. They rushed 4 consistently (sometimes 3) and flooded the backfield.

Re: QB Runs
Not a running play, or a play where Lamar pulled the ball down and transitioned to a scrambler. Just an "ordinary" sack, where the protection completely disintegrated against the pass rush, and Lamar got swamped.
I never clarified exactly what I'm trying to do with this thread. I'm after something like, document how the Ravens "use" Lamar as a runner. Are they calling runs for him? Is he electing to keep it on options? Is he scrambling on called pass plays?
And as a corollary, how much "extra" punishment is Lamar taking, as a result of his running (and not throwing)? Normal sacks (and QB hits after throws) don't factor in; every QB gets those. It's just the hits on running plays, that I'm after.
It's a little vague, sorry.

Re: QB Runs
LJ appears to be making a real effort to not take so many hits. About half the runs he runs out of bounds before he gets any hits. About a quarter of the time his hits are very minor. In fact I can’t recall more than one decent juts he has taken running the ball this year. Being mobile saves him from a lot of punishment when he does get hit. He can shift slightly so defenders don’t get a solid hit in him.

Re: QB Runs
Raw notes from game 4:
Q1 1:52 run right option-no scramble-no hit-no
Q2 10:15 QB sneak hit-yes (but converted!)
Q2 5:30 run left option-maybe (fake Ingram) hit-not really (stumbled after bump)
Q2 0:08 kneel
Q3 13:50 scramble left hit no
Q3 12:40 run left option yes hit yes
Q3 11:55 scramble middle (maybe sack)
Q4 14:50 up the middle option yes hit yes
Q4 13:00 QB sweep right for 1st down, option no hit no
Now that we got 4 games worth, I'll populate the table and see if we can get some pctgs on scrambles vs options etc.

Re: QB Runs
He’s gonna hit 150, if he even lasts that long.
