Lamar Jackson Passing Charts 2019 Season
Since Lamar is sitting week 17, we're now at the point where we can put all of his passing charts together. First, I'll post everything chronological from week 1 to week 16. I'll update it when or if a rating by zone chart becomes available. If anyone has anything that tracks his season in total or anything zone specific, please feel free to add. This should give us a good idea of present strengths and areas for growth, which we can expect to see plenty of given the transformation from last season. I'll also dig up charts from last year to show growth to this point.

Re: Lamar Jackson Passing Charts 2019 Season
Looks like 10 TDs that travelled 20+ air yards and 7 more that travelled 14-20. That’s pretty nice.

Re: Lamar Jackson Passing Charts 2019 Season
NA includes spikes and throwaways (basically any time that the nextGen chart was missing an attempt). One day I'll make something visual and pretty, but for now, just raw numbers. Note that I'm missing 1 incompletion to Andrews (it's depth 1 and pretty close to the split for L/M).
Direction
{L, M, R} breaks the field into 3 horizontal zones of equal size (each is ~18 yards):
direction Com Att ComPer TD INT Yards QBr L7911171.2%112788116.5M10114470.1%1541399124.2R8513264.4%100940110.7NA0130.0%00039.6
Depth
{1, 2, 3, 4} breaks the field into 4 vertical zones:
- Any pass behind the LoS is classified as a 1
- Passes of 0 to 9 Air Yards are classified as a 2
- Passes of 10 to 19 Air Yards are classified as a 3
- Passes of 20+ Air Yards are classified as a 4

Zones
This combines the previous two labels (Direction and Depth), breaking the field into 12 zones.
