Re: Can we all take a moment to laugh at the Browns?
I wonder if Watson after signing the contract or getting suspended just said F it and quit working out or just quit putting any effort into the gym. Would explain why he looks like he’s running in quick sand and has absolutely zero explosion when running. I’d also question if he does any film study. Maybe it was just a really bad week 1 vs a good Dallas defense but he looked even worse then last year. I’m sure at some point there will be a documentary that comes out

I question his rehab of the shoulder as well. It’s been at a snails pace. I just wonder how hard he’s worked at it.

What's his incentive, exactly, to put in extra work? There is none. No other team is going to touch him once the Browns deal is up and he's getting that Browns money whether he puts forth max effort or not.

Re: Can we all take a moment to laugh at the Browns?
A lot of media guys have gone over the contract implications of this latest allegation. There is a real argument that since the time frame of this is before Watson came to Cleveland they won't be able to void the contract. There is language about not getting suspended or ending up on the commissioners exempt list but is that for new incidents or revelations for something old? Are they even able to include language that would apply to incidents before he was a Brown? Watson would absolutely sue if they voided his contract over an old incident and the fact that it was pre-Browns would be his argument. The NFL knows this and might not let the Browns get out of this. They certainly don't want other teams offering these kind of contracts in the future and what better way to prevent that than making the Browns honor this.
For the Browns it's complete hypocrisy. 26 incidents were fine. Watson was a great QB and so they had no issue with 26 settlements. But, Watson isn't a great QB. He's barely played and been bad when he has. So now for the Browns that 27th incident is the straw. Would that be the case if Watson was playing well? Of course not. The Browns ownership continues to be one of the most slimy in the NFL. Unfortunately for me Haslam is now a minority owner of my favorite NBA team the Milwaukee Bucks. I am really hoping his taint doesn't infect that team as well

Can we all take a moment to laugh at the Browns?
I also find it interesting that once this latest accusation came out, his contract was available for the press to scrutinize
And he says he didn’t know about the latest one until Sunday but his lawyer says otherwise. Somebody is lying
