The Redskins were going to create a customized helmet that would have been more comfortable and allowed him to play but he showed zero interest getting back on the field.

Look you can believe whatever you want but if Trent Williams was actually injured he would have been put on IR and wouldn't have demanded a trade until the offseason. He doesn't want to play for the redskins it's amazing how Ramsey back injury all of sudden cleared up immediately after he was traded. The same would have happened to Williams if he was traded he would have found some way around his "scalp irritation"
Not sure any of that reporting is admissible in court. Most likely a doctor's opinion is going to weigh more than NBC Sports.

The Redskins should have just done the right thing and traded him at the deadline.

It's personal for Williams after their team doctors missed a potentially life threatening condition the sooner the Redskins realize Williams isn't going to suit up in a Redskins jersey and play another down a football for them the sooner they can move on with players who actually want to be there.

We can all do this song and dance of whether Williams "scalp irritation" is IR worthy but we all know if he was traded to the Browns or some other team he'd be playing right now. So just bite the bullet like the Jags did with Ramsey and move him in the offseason since you already screwed up at the deadline

Scalp irritation? My man nearly got brain cancer. I am sure there are mental ramifications every time his scalp itches.

I think you are minimizing the impact.

One thing Trent pointed out in a recent interview is he’s not the only one who’s been fucked over by this training staff.

Colt McCoy got rushed back from injury last year and cleared when he shouldn’t have been, and immediately broke his leg.

Alex Smith’s initial surgery was botched to such a degree that he wound up needing 17 (!!!) surgeries in total. The infection got so bad that he almost lost his leg

They botched Derrius Guice’s initial ACL surgery and he got an infection as well, though he “only” required four surgeries total.

I know there’s a conspiracy theory around here that the Raven faked Ryan Grant’s failed physical so they could back out of his contract, but the fact is he had been walking around on an injured ankle all offseason which the Washington staff failed to diagnose during his exit physical. The list goes on.

Meanwhile, the only reason this incompetent firm has the job is because they’re a major team sponsor, having bid the highest for the naming rights to the team’s training facility. The entire situation is a mess, top to bottom.
