If your opponent has nobody else to go and you have the W sealed, I would bench him. Why take the risk if you don't have to? Total points is so unlikely to be a meaningful tiebreaker and it seems even more unlikely that not playing Chubb tonight would cause you to lose that tiebreaker if it somehow happened. What's the scoring, how many yards does he need to be negative to lose a point(s)? Is a fumble negative points? I bench him and take the W personally. I agree with Wicked that it's super unlikely he loses you points but I'm still taking the W.

I am up 48 in the auction league w/ Browns D tonight, my opp has Bell. I'm probably benching the defense. Hard to see them being negative against Trevor Siemian but I highly doubt Bell is getting enough to win the game by himself...unless I play the Browns D and they for some reason play like they did last week lose me points.

I should have benched the defense last week and went from tie guaranteed to loss so that sucked.

Thank you, two losses would be awful. However we have had most points brake a tie a year ago.

He's fine, but was the focus last week since Hill was gone. Now it's him and Robinson and the other speedster likely will be big. Hopefully not against us but in week 4.
