    Re: Billick

I would be shocked if Billick did such a thing, he would lose his $5 million from Bisciotti unless they have made an agreement otherwise and he could have a HC gig.

This news, if true, is making Chris Redman jump for joy in Atlanta.

You think Redman would want to play for Billick again now that his career has been revamped? I highly doubt it.

    Re: Billick

I'd highly highly highly doubt this. Why would Billick accept a job working under a guy who used to be on his staff? What a massive and unnecessary step down that would be.

Norv Turner worked for Mike Nolan in SF after Mike Nolan had worked for him in Washington. The next year Turner got a head coaching job.

Having said that, I think Billick will take a year off, collect his money from Bisciotti, do a couple of Coors Light "press conference" commercials, and work for ESPN.

Brian Billick hired as an OC? He has to let the dust settle first. With his track record who would take that chance?

Difference being that Norv was an abject failure as a head coach where Billick has a Superbowl win, a winning record etc. He's got no reason to go and be someone's assistant.
