Believe they said on radio they were clean when they left Florida. Which is worse, because it means either the MLB safety protocol isn’t strong enough, or more likely, the players aren’t following it. Neither is great news for the other non bubble sport, our favorite NFL.

Re: What in the World (Orioles)
The same thing is going to happen in the NFL. RWT is absolutely right the only way to do sports right now is by having a bubble like the NBA. You cannot trust the players not to be knuckleheads and not to make dumb choices. The second paragraph of what RWT posted is most telling. The leagues and the teams have to police themselves and not allow this mentality that it can be played through.
This goes 2 ways from here, either everyone in MLB wises up and takes it seriously from here on including opting not to fucking play when it's spreading across your team, or this continues, games continue to be cancelled and the season is called in a couple weeks. It was REALLY nice to actually watch a live sport this past weekend so I'm hoping they can get it together, but I won't count on it.back on twitter

Re: What in the World (Orioles)
and now the Orioles are waiting around in Miami, the global center of the pandemic. Miami-Dade COUNTY(!) has more active cases than almost every other COUNTRY. i sure do hope the O's don't have to go to Miami AGAIN to make up the games.
(Miami-Dade County has more reported active cases than all countries except US, Brazil, India, Russia, South Africa, and Columbia https://www.worldometers.info/coronavirus/)

Re: What in the World (Orioles)
I wonder if this might cause a bunch of NFL players to opt out this week before the deadline.
