Oh no! You mean a person used contributions to be awarded a seat of power in government?!?! The horror! How much did Obama sell his IL seat for again? Every senator knows the costs of being assigned to top committees. It’s common knowledge on the Hill. So this news story is selective at best.... ridiculous since it happens every day and is completely legal to even consider it news....
