Why would he use the word Muslim as an insult? The birther movement was based on a lie in order to smear the country's first black president, simply because he happened to have African ancestors. Why would he compare Syrian refugees to venomous snakes, and attempt to ban all Muslims from entering the United States? Isn't that the definition of racism, painting a quarter of the world's population as potential terrorists? And how about that time he called an American born Hispanic judge "a Mexican" and suggested that he couldn't do his job properly as a result?

The information is out there if you want to look at it. Based on the example you provided above, you seem to have some idea of what racism is. Whether or not you care about Trump being one is up to you, but you don't get to rewrite history just because you happen to root for a certain politician. My point isn't to attack you or suggest that you're a racist because you like Trump. I just don't understand why people won't even consider that there's a strong possibility that Trump is racist.

The information is out there. Perhaps you need to take a look at it by the way. As several people have said, your examples are with flat out lies or half truths. The worst of what you’re saying was sourced ONLY from a fired Trump employee that had financial troubles and released an expose for cash. The only truth in there is that he called Obama a Muslim. Once again... did he say, “Muslims are all bad!” No. Did Obama admit to studying Islam in his own biography? Yes. So it was actually Obama who denied and got defensive about being a Muslim.
One thing I will say Trump needs to learn is the difference between Muslims and Islamists. There is a distinct difference that the DNC and Ilhan Omar has also intentionally blurred. The Muslim Brotherhood, CAIR, and Hamas are Islamists. Ilhan defends Islamists as does Tlaib. That is a significant issue since islamists are Theocratic religious Fascists. Muslim is a religion that has no bearing on government. They view the tenants of the Koran (also known as Sharia) as Christians view the Ten Commandments... overlying principals to follow but can dismiss them without legal consequence (obviously not murder or stealing). Islamists treat Sharia as law and it is government enforced. Sharia differs from the Commandments in the sense that actual punishments are assigned for people that disobey these laws... most of them barbaric and incompatible with any western culture. Trumps “Muslim ban” was on countries that are Islamists almost solely... not Muslim. I think this topic needs to stop being dumbed down because otherwise we will have morons using the term “Muslim ban”.... which is not what it was.

I mean, if the POTUS is racist...he's doing it wrong. He's working w/black people to help other black people. The “First Step Act” and now this...???? He sucks at this game. He needs to call Northam (remember him? the media doesn't) to find out what he's doing wrong.

Before ya know it...his Hitler-ass will defend Israel and move the US embassy back to Jerusalem. All hail the Führer.

As far as the travel ban, correct me if I'm wrong, and I could well be, but I don't remember a radical Islamist mass murder attack in this country since Trump has been President. Was it due to the travel ban? Who knows, but it didn't seem to hurt.

Uhh...what? You don't see any connection between your (incomplete, but somewhat accurate) definition of "racism" and the list of instances that I posted? Person X can't do their job right because they're Mexican, Person Y is a dangerous Muslim, Group Z are snakes, etc, etc....Nothing to do with racism? I'm not sure if there's any point in continuing to discuss the topic. We're not speaking the same language.

Muslim population has been steadily growing every year. There are more Muslims in America now than there ever has been.

A lot of pre-2008 Hillary supporters hated Obama. It actually makes perfect sense that one of them helped start the birther movement. Not sure how that absolves Trump for his participation, or makes it less racist. Not a lot of convincing responses going on here.
