100%. Anything less than that is a fail and we should blow it all up to completely forget that part of our history ever existed.

Re: What completion % would you be happy with Lamar
This year? Based on the Ravens' historical problems in the passing game and the WR position specifically, the fact Lamar is only in his second year, and his mechanics, I'd say 55-59%.
If the Ravens run a scheme actually designed to get WR's open and Lamar corrects his mechanics, I'd expect 59-63%."A moron, a rapist, and a Pittsburgh Steeler walk into a bar. He sits down and says, “Hi I’m Ben may I have a drink please?”

In 1964, Unitas had a completion pct of 51.8. He was MVP.
YPA is more important than comp pct."Flacco is driving the ball in that wind....."

I'm more concerned about the fumbles than his completion %

Re: What completion % would you be happy with Lamar
we disagreed about that article, but we agree here. Id liked to see him in the 60-62%. I think that would be realistically attainable. He had 58% last year without working on his mechanics all offseason. without a year of experience and an entire offseason of running an offense specifically designed for him. Id expect that number to go up slightly all things considered equal.
I do agree with others that YPA is likely going to be a bigger tell. Hes going to be throwing more deep passes most likely, which means lower completion and more YPA. so what id like to see is within that range, but theoretically he could regress in completion % and the offense be better for it.
I like consistent chain moving offenses more than ones that rely on a big strike. I think it helps your defense and your offense to get that rhythm and rest. So hoping for that range is more about how I hope the offense is run than what i expect it to be.-JAB
