If Bethel gets cut do we get another comp pick?

With all the corners and special teams players we have can we cut him and get an extra comp pick for next year?

I'm pretty sure yes. I think we can cut him any time before the trade deadline and get the comp pick back.

But we shouldn't cut him. People undervalue special teams all the time, but it wins you games. We have a truly elite special teams player under contract and gave up a 7th round pick. Worth.

So it sounds like right now Bethel is cancelling Urban and Ingram is cancelling Suggs.

Right. I'm trying to figure out why we sometimes place more value on a thing of unknown value(draft pick) vs. a known commodity.

He’s not getting cut. Marshall is more likely to get cut, and he’s not getting cut either.

Even if they do cut him it'll be in the regular season after plenty of evaluation. It won't have any bearing on the initial 53 - he's going to be on it.

Which again has me asking - who is getting cut? Or traded?

we already have an ace in Levine. are you implying Levine will be cut? Ive thought theyve been trying to replace him for awhile now, for a cheaper option not because of his play, but he keeps on playing more and earning his contract. I dont see Bethel pushing him off the roster, so I dont think hes going to be captain over him either.

Amish, I agree. DeCosta didn't spend a 4th on Iman just to cut him. Keeping in mind the glut of Dbacks on our roster already, they saw something the Ravens liked as there were other positions that could have been drafted in his spot... Bc
