Re: 2019 OTAs
I saw the Lamar video on FB too. The spiral remains a concern but it’s not the end all be all for him to be successful.

Re: 2019 OTAs
Ball placement and velocity is going to be more important than the spiral to me.
I think Roman's scheme is going to rely on Lamar hitting certain windows off quick looks that will open up some deeper looks.
At times, I thought Lamar's velocity on the ball vis-a-vis the WRs route looked off. So I think that adjustment would be huge.
The spiral wasn't a duck, so that's an improvement lol."Cause if you ain’t pissed off for greatness, that just means you’re okay with being mediocre, and ain’t no man in here okay with just basic.”

Re: 2019 OTAs
Yeah, I just saw this on Twitter. His passes are still wobbly, but they have more velocity and accuracy (it seems). Before posters start to complain about his passes like on Twitter/Instagram, look no further than Peyton Manning. Here are some fan forums expressing concern about his wobbly passes:
Why doesn't Peyton throw tight spirals?

Peyton Manning throws wobbly passes. Philip Rivers has a funky throwing motion. They are #1 and 2 in TD passes and QBR right now.
So in summary, it doesn't matter.

He can throw a tight spiral, but he throws a whole hell of a lot of ducks. They're on target, but wobbly as hell. Re: 2019 OTAs
I don't like the way they chopped up the video.

Re: 2019 OTAs
Something that isn’t talked about much because everyone here harps about how off his mechanics and throws are at points, is how often he fumbled the football last year.
Seemed he fumbled almost every game.
That’s something that needs to be cleared up.

100%
It’s such a glaring need that I think most of us assume it’ll be cleaned up. Also, read option naturally causes more fumbles so not having a full offseason to practice it might have hurt last season. But, if he can’t clean up the fumbles, he can’t be on the field. Simple as that.
