    Baltimore looking into Jon Bostic

I got a heads up about Bostic last week, but nothing was close.

Jeff Z tweeted this morning they appear to be moving on him.

He's the kind of thumper I wanted. He compliment KYo and Peanut very well and Wink can use a rotation if they do indeed sign him. Would love this move.

Why did the Steelers not bring him back? They have need at that position too

They didn't seem to want a thumper type. They have Barron and Bush as their ILB's. Both are more WILL guys in our scheme. Bostic isn't very athletic. If I didn't see Wink use a rotation effectively last year I'd be concerned because Bostic is a liability in coverage.

I'm okay with a guy like that with Onwuasor and Young playing next to him. I thought he looked solid on the Steelers and was surprised when they had no interest at all in keeping him

I would like to see the Ravens sign Bostic. They are very thin at ILB right now, and would be wise to add depth. Bostic is a slightly lesser version of Mosely IMO. Both are tough against the run and are liabilities in coverage.

Yeah I agree. You can now have 3 complimentary guys.

KYo is your main coverage backer
Peanut can cover the flats, blitz and do some man up coverage.
Bostic is your strict thumper. Take on blocks, play downhill

I think I would like Manti Teo or Josh Bynes better but cool.

I would have preferred Bynes. I think Bostic is better than T'eo.

Slightly? LOL, he couldn't shine Mosley's shoes. Now that doesn't mean I don't want to sign him to a reasonable (meaning cheap) contract... Bc

Ok, how about a lesser version of Moseley?
