That's a good point Jim. Not only do the Ravens have an obvious connection to Michigan (B10) but they also have an obvious connection to Alabama (SEC) and it sure seems like a strong connection to Oklahoma (B12). By extension they've got most of the big schools covered.

    Any other obvious connections?

Those three conferences accounted for every player other than Proche in this year’s class.

B1G - Dobbins, Harrison, Bredesen, Stone
    SEC - Queen, Madubuike, Phillips
    Big 12 - Duvernay, Washington

Interestingly enough, though, we took nobody from Bama, nobody from OU, and only one player from Michigan. So those connections applied to those conferences, but not really to the schools themselves.

We talked about a smaller school in another thread. Cincinnati.

Harbaugh and Wink both coached there. Rex Ryan coached there.

In fact, Harbaugh, Wink and Roman are all from Ohio originally.

Not that it has led to many Bearcats on the roster lately. Haruki Nakamura (Drafted John's first year), Chris Moore, Brad Jackson (Rex's guy), and Parker Ehinger come to mind.

Other Bearcats in the NFL, besides Wolfe, include Connor Barwin, Brent Celek, Trent Cole, Bengals punter Kevin Huber, and Jason and Travis Kelce. Not bad for a small school.
