Boy that QB from Utah looks an awful lot like Tyrod Taylor when he can out, quick release and compact throwing motion, looks promising as a developmental QB

Has anyone watched Eli Wolf TE from GA close at all? Pro Day numbers...

Transferred from Tenn to GA.... only had 13 catches for 194 and a TD.....

Both offenses in Tenn and GA did not feature the TE all that much...

I haven't watched his game cut-ups......yet. But, i've read about him and watched highlights.

Based on your strong opinion i'm assuming you watched him a lot?

What am i missing about his throwing accuracy that shows / suggests he can't hit the broadside of a barn?

64.5 and 64.4 comp % 2018-2019.

I don't have his adjusted comp % for this season; but last year he was top 10 according to PFF.
Perkins adjusted completion percentage was 80.3% which, btw, was higher then Trevor Lawrence.
He entered the season as the 15th ranked QB in the nation according to PFF.

He may not have looked it to the general public over his final two games, but if you had paid attention to the year Huntley and the Utes had over the course of their full season and not just the two games that made national television, you would have been utterly impressed with everything Huntley did in 2019. There were moments that he took games over for the Utes and moments that you wished to see him throw it downfield more because he was simply one of the best to do it this year. On all throws targeted at least 10 yards downfield, Huntley was the country’s fifth highest-graded quarterback and isolating even further downfield, on all throws at least 20 yards past the line of scrimmage, he was the nation’s sixth-ranked passer. For the year, he threw just six turnover-worthy passes compared to his 18 big-time throws, and that’s considering he wasn’t even tasked with throwing downfield all too often. He has every bit of arm talent to find all levels of the field and was truly dominant when given a chance to find his receivers on longer-developing pass attempts. This all goes without mentioning his 28 rushing conversions and 18 broken tackles on the ground this year.

Frankly I don't see the need. Seems to me that Grif & Trace are fine for this year.

I don't know that they're specifically looking for one. That wasn't the reason behind the post.

Just discussing prospects as I come across them and they stood out, especially given their playing style and skillset.
Also from a talent acquisition standpoint, I believe every franchise should always look at to add talent at every position every draft. When it comes to QBs I believe in the WCO process, where many WCO teams draft or sign an UDFA development QB prospect every year.

Belichick told Ozzie many years ago, that you should bring in a late-round QB almost every year, cuz you never know which one is going to develop.

I believe in that. But for us, this season, I think "almost" is the key would. We've picked a QB in each of the last two drafts. I don't mind taking a year off from that: certainly we've got enough other slots to fill.
