Charles my friend. When my daughter was in rehab she asked me to make her an iPod full of “good “ music. Now I had to “sensor “ what was there ( no drugs, alcohol, partying referencing). So I loaded about 50 songs onto a small MP3 player. She found strength and solace in one song and it’s still her “go to “ when she needs strength. Addiction is a monster and it kills more than its victims. The hell it puts on family and loved ones is immeasurable. While I still have my daughter ( 6 yrs clean) I’ve walked the same road as you did.
